Berberine is a yellow-coloured alkaloid that is found in certain plants such as Goldenseal, Barberry, Oregon Grape and Chinese Gold Thread. It has a 3000 year history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Grapefruit seed extract is a substance derived from the seeds, membranes and the pulp of grapefruit. It is used to support microbial balance in the body.
Garlic has been used traditionally for centuries. It may contribute to the maintenance of the microbial balance in the gut. It may also help defend against harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi, and it may support the immune system.
Goldenseal has been traditionally used to contribute to the natural defences of the body.
Gentian is a bitter digestive herb that is traditionally used to facilitate and support digestion.
Sweet Annie, Black Walnut and Quassia are also part of this synergistic herbal formula.
